important and sad news- I also have a track on a fundraiser compilation for musician/artist/Japan founder Mick Karn. As I previously mentioned, Mick has advanced stage cancer and the council has put together an amazing compilation to help Mick’s family. It is available to purchase on iTunes, Amazon and all the major digital sites. Click here to read more. I can’t speak highly enough of Mick and he is without a doubt my inspiration for picking up a bass to begin with.
I will be playing some laptops with Ben Perowsky’s Moodswing Orchestra featuring TK Wonder, this Saturday night at 11:30PM at Nublu in New York City. Its the hottest venue in New York, Mr. Perowsky’s riddims are to be rivaled, and TK’s lyrical flow will leave even the neasayers breathless. You may remember that they were kind enough to invite me to play GiantStep!s Central Park Summerstage showcase with them earlier in the summer…if you missed that then come check this out!
Sorry for the short notice but if you happen to be hunkering down to bbq your tofurkey dogs and sip your mojitos in the city of new york this weekend you should most definitely come see me play as part of Ben Perowsky’s Moodswing Orchestra featuring the talented MC/Singer/spiritual guide TK Wonder at the 92nd Street Y (in Tribecca).

JAPAN, Dalis Car, solo bassist and sculptor Mick Karn has been diagnosed with advanced stages of cancer. His financial resources in Cyprus are very, very slender….. at best.. Donations are being accepted no matter how small on behalf of Mick and his family and you can leave him a message on his site as well. If you aren’t familiar with his music or sculpture check out the site. This fretless legend is the reason I picked up a 4 string to begin with.

At present, in addition to touring and producing, Moldover is overseeing the release of his first commercially available controller.
